Sorry if this is posted already. They've blocked PPCgeeks at work. Couldn't see if there was a thread on this already.

I am stock. EVO 4G LTE. Software version 1.22.651.3 710RD.

Earlier this week, I received notification on my phone that a system update was available.

Has anyone else got this update. Does anyone know what all it updates or if it blocks it breaks root.

I was planning on rooting soon.

Unfortunately, I can't tell what version the update will be unless I click on it and install it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Don't know what it does to rooted phones but it does seem to increase the amount of available RAM under same conditions.

if you are rooted or plan on rooting never take an OTA thats the rules..:banghead:
