Hello,

I have a strange issue. Stock and not rooted. Hotmail syncs intermittenly only. I have tried configuring using the hotmail option and just active sync to m.hotmail.com with the same result. It works sometime and sometime it does not. All of my other active sync accounts work just fine.

Anyone noticed this?

Which mail app are you using?

Default Sense. It seems even worse with sending. Almost always get stuck.

I've installed the microsoft hotmail app and it works just fine but I'd like to have all of my email account go through the Sense mail app.

are u setting it up as an exchange account? if not, try that

I've tried it as both hotmail option and active sync to m.hotmail.com. Made no difference.

I am having the same problem with Hotmail... it seems to sync when it wants, it is nice having all my email accounts in one place but I might have to resort to the Hotmail app or just keep using the internet shortcut as backup...

Mine syncs just fine in the default app... But I don't have if sync often either.

I had this issue until I realized that Auto-sync was turned off. May want to check that. It is located at the top of the screen under Settings>Accounts & sync.

You should slowly migrate all your email to Yahoo or Gmail.

With Gmail, you do get all your contacts sync up once you log in. That is the beauty even without SIM card.
