Sprint EVO housing:

I found a website that sells the complete housing as well as battery cover for the EVO, black color or white. However, they only sell in lots of two. So I was wondering if I buy, anybody out there want to purchase the other one from me? It would be $38. I talked to a local Sprint store and they said they could perform the housing replacement for free when I bring it in.

If you plan on using the screen, be warned. There are two different types of screens for the Evo, one made by Sharp and the other by AUO.

its all over the boards and discussed in many threads thats why i feel many havent told you but what hardware version are you? if you are 0001 or possibly in some cases 0002 you will have the 1 inch ribbon. and if you are some 0002 or above you are going to be the newer 1.2 inch ribbon... for the half inch ribbons you would need to take it apart and be sure to check the numbers that are in the auction or description of the screen and make sure it matches... with the 2 1/2 inch ones they look exactly the same but dont boot up if you get the wrong one. hope this helps ya brudda and let me know if you have any further questions.
