I dont plan on letting that cheap battery anywhere near my EVO, will EBAY it or give it to a homeless guy, but the case could hold my HTC branded battery just fine... hopefully it fits.

Jeez that case is too fat... I'd be down for a 1900-2000 mah battery and back cover that just thickens the phone enough so that the camera lens is flush with the rest of the phone.

Im willing to sacrifice more... because what I realized is it isnt often that I look at the back of the device... I just want it to have increased functionality...

Meh...the case isn't to bad, but I'm not one to want "added bulk".anyhow please keep us updated on how the battery performs compared to stock.

Its the HTC branded 2150 battery, so it should add about 40%... from what Battery Boss said in their ratings, this battery achieved 100% of its advertised power rating, so I expect to go from 6 hours heavy use to 9 hours heavy use... 14 hours moderate use to 20 hours moderate use... and 26 hours light use to 38 hours light use... so long story short I expect to get a day and a half of use out of this thing before even thinking of a recharge... I guess only time will tell if the added bulk kills me... but ultimately I am sick of these phones having such amazing features and the battery life dwindling down to crap... give me a phone that goes a solid 2 days without recharging so I never feel that I cant use my phone in an emergency...

I think im going to give this a go.seems quite decent for its size.

Its definitely not as big as the hunchbacking Mugen battery.... but I was looking for a middle ground battery... Ill have screen shots before and after I add the back, as well as screen shots next to a Droid X for comaprison... My guess is it will be no thicker than the Droid X where the Camera portion is... which to me is where the Droid X should be measured anyway...

Received the cover and battery today.... unfortunately they sent me what looks to be a blackberry cover... not a lot of good that will do... hopefully I will have the correct one in a few days.

Ill try to have some hosted tonight and post em... As of right now the only thing I can show ya is the 2150 battery vs the regular battery... I have the HTC Incredible 2150 battery coming tomorrow... and hopefully the new cover will be here tomorrow or tuesday... so I should be up and running soon

That's what i'm interested in. I wanna see how the 2150 battery looks compared to the stock battery. That way I can see if theres a way I can rig up a case to hold the battery, rather than having the extended battery cover.

The extended is exactly double the size of the existing battery... so you only need an extra 1/8th of an inch or so... Whats a good hosting site so I can post?

its a mess... havent felt like cleaning it since I built this desktop... finally got it clean then I got the phone... now I just dont care...

sometimes you just feel lazy, im have been in that mode for a little while now.. i need to stop cause i like order.


but work is killing me and i just have a lot of things on my mind..


but on topic.. i want to try my extended batt but i dont like to keep my phone in my pocket... i use a holster.. i dont know , i may use it for a day to see how it does.

I finally got the cover... the thing definitely is thick now... reminds me of a giant touch pro 2 now... I will get over it if the battery lasts as long as I want it too.. on the down side, it doesnt fit into the leather HTC case I bought for it, so now I have to keep it in my pocket until I order a cover for the extended battery version of it... Im sure something will fit it... pictures to come over the weekend.

I got the 3500 mAh from Seidio about three weeks ago and I feel like I cut the chains of slavery to my charger. I don't do much to controll battery drain. I run with 4G, GPS. BT on. Seldom with WiFi. My two biggest uses are WunderRadio and watching movies. I listened to the radio with my S9 BT headset for six hours today while detailing my Harley. Went in the house and plugged the phone into the charger and I had 65%.
I have watched two full length movies, back to back and had 80% when done. I'd like to say I have talked X hours and had X.X% but I rarely talk on the phone.

But it ussed to be when I had teh stock battery, I would go to an hour long meeting and get back to my desk and plug it into the charger and already be down to 80% from just sitting in my pocket!! Those days are over.

The phone is about the same thickness as the Mogul it replaced so I was already used to that size. I can still carry it in my top pocket. Normally it is in my saddle-bag, plugged into a cigar lighter charger and I access it via bluetooth while riding. I love my EVO and my Harley. What else is there?

I just read on Battery Boss that out of the box that 3500 is really only putting out 3800. And over 6 months it will degrade by more than 20%. Im stickin with the 2150 HTC battery that the Incredible uses... its rated 100% with a 1.5% degradation each month...

Doesn't look that big..i have a seidio active case.i wonder if I remove the htc back cover and just use the case if that would be enough space for that incredible extended battery?
