What is good for removing scratches from a clear hard case?

Hi,

I have a clear snap on hard case, nothing special, but having put it down on surfaces it has developed a few scratches on the back section. Is there a compound or something I can use to remove these scratches?

Not sure how hard the plastic is, but the product you are looking for is clear plastic polish. They sell them at auto supply stores for car headlights, but I can't guarantee that it will work. I've used meguire's clear plastic polish on my old ipods with success, but YMMV.

What about maybe spraying the case with clear coat protectant?

That might protect this against future scratches, but unless its sprayed very carefully, it won't fill in the scratches and might make it look distorted. The scratches from just placing a phone on a surface are usually pretty fine, almost like scuffs, can't tell what kind the OP has though without pictures.

THIS is an excellent idea. I'm going to head over to Home Depot and see if I can find something to first take out the scratches and a spray to coat it afterward. Anyone have any suggestions for a spray to coat it?
