The back, sides and corners are protected. Face is the only area exposed area, but the slight raise protects it too. Top and bottom are not usually knocked on things to cause those areas damage. Overall it helps prevent usual scuffs, a unique look and better grip. Defenitly not for someone that is prone to or clumsy with their stuff.

I really like that case. I have the same case as jungleboy. while it is thicker, it also raises the back up enough to where the phone is not resting on the camera lense when i set it down on its back. does this case do that as well?

good question, don't think so though, it is about the same thickness s the lens or just ever so slightly thicker than the lens.

My brother has this case also. It seems like it wont really protect the bottom, top, and front of the phone. I have a gel case and it adds bulk to the phone but this didn't. Just bought it from bargaincell. I should've looked here and bought it from that ebay seller. I could've saved $4 on shipping.

Ended up cancelling my order from bargaincell and went with the ebay one. Ordered Friday and got it in Today...wow that's fast shipping. They're in walnut california so that might have made a difference. Anyway I love this case. After putting it(black) on my phone I decided to order a red one also. Thanks for the ebay link. There is another ebay seller selling it for $5.99 free shipping but the package it comes in is different. But they are probably the same manufacturer.

Good to hear you liked it as well. I bought two of them, red and skull and had him combine the shipping charges to save a few bux.. i am thinking on getting perhaps 2 more colors.. lol they keep adding new ones. The ebay vendor I get them from delivers from the daysale site..

Man the red one is NICE!!! It's like burgundy then candy apple red in some angles with metallic effect. Pictures do not do it justice. You just have to see it in person. Loving it on my phone.

I found an even cheaper seller on ebay. $4.95 for the red one and a few other colors. Free shipping. Make sure you check the pricing since some are more than other's even though they are for the same item. If you are in california, expect to pay 48 cents tax. lol.
