Plantronics 230 (free BB) headset issues?
 

Is anyone else having issues with the free BT headset that BB provided with the pre-orders? I charged mine up, used it for a day - and now it won't turn on.

Red light comes on when it is on the charger, but it won't turn on...on or off the charger. I heard it was a pretty crappy headset, but I was hoping to at least use for PS3.

I may try to take it back, but since it was a freebie, I'm not sure how they'll handle...

mine is sitting in drawer because of the same issue. Maybe someone else can comment or tell us if there is a way to get it back on. I guess this is why it must've been free

LOL I got the same thing with the same issue! I even returned my first one and got a new one but it did the same thing. just been to lazy/not caring to go return it again

They actually let you exchange it?? lol...wow.

I wonder if they will let you return it for a giftcard. I doubt it though.

Oh and the same thing happened to mine....I didnt think they would exchange it though.

Same issue for me and the replacement was no problem. Hopefully this one works more than a day.......

wow, really interesting - I wasn't expecting so many others with issues. I'm definitely taking mine back now, they offered it for free like it was some kind of incentive or benefit.

If they want to get rid of faulty accessories they can use their own trash bin.

Yep, had the same problem too, exchanged it next day, and it has been working since...

thanks for all the assurance! i'm going to try to take mine back tomorrow now. I loved using mine in the car and then all of a sudden it would turn on, i'd get the blue light and it wouldnt connect, just stay blue. If i plugged in the charger it would be blue/red and again wouldnt turn off no matter what i did, i just had to let the battery drain, then plug it in, then try again and the same thing happened. i was so disappointed, glad to know i may be able to do something about it.

I have the same issue. Return got a 2nd one and now have the same issue again! What is wrong with this crap? $40 value... more like 40 cents.
