HTC Branded 2150 mAh Battery??
I have seen one for the Incredible, as well as the TP2. I was wondering if anyone knows if these are compatible with our phones or if an EVO specific one is in the pipes. I also saw that the 2150mah battery was one of the few batteries on Battery Boss to get the true mah rating they advertised. Personally, I would love to stick with a stock battery size, but if I have to ugly this thing up a little to make it EXTREMELY useful ( currently, I would only say it is useful, since full use of the device will kill it in an hour or 2 ).
Anyway just asking the question and adding my two cents. |

I dont think it comes in sizes. I believe its only stock and jumbo. That would require "slightly larger than stock but not quite a medium". That would be an ideal size for all those that refuse to do the 3500.

Re: HTC Branded 2150 mAh Battery??
Ugh. I would entertain larger batteries if I didn't think the Evo was the best looking phone out there. The thought of camel humping my Evo's sexy lines doesn't sound good to me.
(And the fact that I already have a Seidio case).... |

Re: HTC Branded 2150 mAh Battery??
if your in the car plug it in, if your at the office plug it into the computer, I mean really you could get a full day off hard use with a good overnight charge and a few quick charges in between. I only plug mine in overnight it shut off on me one time since I owned it. Its easily the worst phone as far as batterie power that I have owned but with some tricks you can get this thing lasting all day even with some serious use

Re: HTC Branded 2150 mAh Battery??
I'm a pretty heavy user and I get a full day of use out of mine by turning off GPS and Data when I'm not using them.

But keep in mine the 3500 mah battery was rated somewhere around 40% if I remember correctly... whereas the 2150 HTC battery was rated at 99-100% Which means the 2150mah battery actually holds more power than the 3500mah since the 3500 mah battery was only getting rated around 1800-1950mah according to battery boss |
Re: HTC Branded 2150 mAh Battery??
I would use all the battery tweaks before I go with a larger battery.

Re: HTC Branded 2150 mAh Battery??
Extended life batteries that require a different back usually make holding the phone a lot easier for me. This has always been my experience.

Re: HTC Branded 2150 mAh Battery??
So still no word on an HTC battery cover that will hold the HTC 2150 MAH battery? I would definitely hump back my phone if it meant I could power use this thing!!

Re: HTC Branded 2150 mAh Battery??
Ultimately, 2150 is like 35 - 40% increase, and that is EXACTLY what I am looking for. Enough that if I play a bunch of games, surg the web, etc, I dont have to worry baout not being able to make a call later. Plus a 2150 mah battery shouldnt add a TON of size to this device... at most the battery doubles in physical size... should an a quarter inch at most!
