Yeah that's a good price. If I didn't get mine from Radio Shack with my $20 accessory credit I'd be all over that. Out of curiosity, after I got my Evo I went to the Sprint store to see their accessories, and the car charger they had was $36.99! :shock: No way I'm paying that much. It wasn't even an official HTC product.

Do you know what the output on that is. I know on my Pre if it didn't have 1000ma output running gps or pandora while charging either left you without getting charged or a net negative in charge.

Yes, it works. I have 2!

The output is 5v (1mA). Same as your charger that came with your Evo.

I put my order through as soon as I read that. Not worried since it's a name brand just want to make sure it can output atleast 1ma, cuz not all chargers even sprint's can do that.

I apologize, I looked it up last night and it said 1mA. I looked at the charger this morning and its actually 0.950mA.......... Which is very close, more so than most you find at ~0.700mA.

I used it to charge/gps yesterday and it had no problems charging, FYI.

950 ma should be fine the Pre had the 1000ma requirement mostly cuz of the touchstone, but I knew that some 750ma chargers I got at monoprice didn't charge the phone at all while running gps it just kept it from running down.

You may want to check with them and see what the output is rated at first. But other than that, I assume it would work?

I think the specs are still better than the OE/Sprint charger, from what I've read. I think the Sprint charger is 0.850mA.

I only buy OEM HTC branded chargers etc. I don't trust the crap in the Sprint Stores or online....I know for sure Amazon carrys HTC branded chargers...so I will get those..

You never know what your buying, and if it may overcharge or damage your phone is one way or another. Be careful and do what you think is best.

I want one of these, but Amazon is showing two different ones - SPN5400 and P513 (which actually SAYS micro USB). Which one is the "correct" one? And does it make a difference? Thanks!

Had gotten a bundle from ebay, car changer, wall charger and usb cable for $5. Also purchased a Motorola car charger for under $10, good charger.

The cheap one in the bundle is dead, so back to ebay, found a Cellet Elite car charger for under $15--awesome product--charges fast and it looks like it will outlast my EVO.
