Do you think the EVO can support the 16 GB class 10 SDHC cards?

y? anything past class 4 is pretty much a waste of time unless your doin alotta of CPU to card transfers. When installed on the phone it wont utilize the capabilities of it being a class 10 man. its got bus speed limit. a class 4 should suffice for running HD video from it and loading ur music. hell it ships with a class 2.

I use Class 6. Never heard of anything faster, but not surprised

for 720p recording... im sure with SuperFine settings and fully tweaked (including audio) it can surpass 10MB a second for recording...
On the fly upscaling anyone? Lol what people fail to recognize is that Android is as open as its derivative; Linux! lolololo ftw do what i wan!

its compressed tho. its not raw. and 720p wont be writing @ class 10 speeds. or else the class 2 it ships with is gonna drag when doin video. lol. sum1 find the bus write speeds of a snapdragon. i know a TP2's 7600 is like 3.x

Really?!?!?! I saw a class 6 16gb microSD memory card online for about $60.......is that a good deal?!?!?!!

Can't find any 32gb micros anywhere!

Can you stop copy and pasting same thing into every single sd card thread? no one cares about 32gb sd cards...these threads are about class speeds...

and for record PQI is a brand known for making portable media..not to much on SD cards but they do a lot of flash drives, RAM, SSD and etc

On another note, Class speed is the "minimum speed"..

since I'm too lazy to do a speed test on one myself I'll use someone else's results..this is for a class 6 Transecend card

Random Read 4KB : 5.443 MB/s
Random Write 4KB : 0.020 MB/s

As you can see even Class 6 would read at 16mb/sec and write at 8mb/sec in consecutive which video is.

Yes that is true..but I think some of them were moved by the mods here from elsewhere. Either way it does not justify spamming each one of them lol

I think the 16GB class 6 or higher is the sweet spot here. That 32GB is only a class 2 card if you look at the picture on the site. If anything I might buy 2 of the 16's and keep one for movies, on trips and such...

I have a Class 2 16 gig card and I watch full length movies everyday. I have not had the slightest trouble.
