Class 10 micro SDHC cards
Do you think the EVO can support the 16 GB class 10 SDHC cards?

Re: Class 10 micro SDHC cards
y? anything past class 4 is pretty much a waste of time unless your doin alotta of CPU to card transfers. When installed on the phone it wont utilize the capabilities of it being a class 10 man. its got bus speed limit. a class 4 should suffice for running HD video from it and loading ur music. hell it ships with a class 2.

Re: Class 10 micro SDHC cards
I use Class 6. Never heard of anything faster, but not surprised

Re: Class 10 micro SDHC cards
its compressed tho. its not raw. and 720p wont be writing @ class 10 speeds. or else the class 2 it ships with is gonna drag when doin video. lol. sum1 find the bus write speeds of a snapdragon. i know a TP2's 7600 is like 3.x

Re: Class 10 micro SDHC cards
****ONLY SANDISK IS CURRENTLY SELLING 32gb MICRO SDs.. Posted this in another 32gb post***
PNY only makes a 16GB card http://www3.pny.com/category_buymult...Category_ID=44 Kingston as well http://www3.pny.com/category_buymult...Category_ID=44 A-Data also only a 16GB http://www.adata.com.tw/EN/product_s...tNo=AMC2CL10BK (look, its a class10??) SanDisk is $200 yes http://www.sandisk.com/products/mobi...disk-microsdhc Samsung(who rumored in january to be testing a 32gb card) only has upto 8gb on site http://www.samsung.com/us/function/s...yword=micro+sd PQI(who ive never heard of b4) only has upto 16gb http://www.google.com/products?q=32g...+International so yeah, sandisk seems to be the sole company making these really... and for 200 bucks... |

Can you stop copy and pasting same thing into every single sd card thread? no one cares about 32gb sd cards...these threads are about class speeds... and for record PQI is a brand known for making portable media..not to much on SD cards but they do a lot of flash drives, RAM, SSD and etc -------------------------------------------------- On another note, Class speed is the "minimum speed".. since I'm too lazy to do a speed test on one myself I'll use someone else's results..this is for a class 6 Transecend card Test Size: 5x 100MB Sequential Read : 16.323 MB/s Sequential Write : 8.346 MB/s Random Read 512KB : 16.282 MB/s Random Write 512KB : 1.798 MB/s Random Read 4KB : 5.423 MB/s Random Write 4KB : 0.023 MB/s Test Size: 2x 1000MB Sequential Read : 16.306 MB/s Sequential Write : 8.332 MB/s Random Read 512KB : 16.280 MB/s Random Write 512KB : 1.562 MB/s Random Read 4KB : 5.443 MB/s Random Write 4KB : 0.020 MB/s As you can see even Class 6 would read at 16mb/sec and write at 8mb/sec in consecutive which video is. |
Re: Class 10 micro SDHC cards

Re: Class 10 micro SDHC cards
Just an fyi you can apply the coupon code SDTHANKS10 at sandisk's website and get the 32GB microsdhc card for 185.99 shipped. Still too expensive for me, but for those well off early adopters out there....
or as low as $143.23 + shipping here, just no stock status... http://www.applied-computer.com/Inve...6&Acpn=9121996 |
Re: Class 10 micro SDHC cards
