Anyone else having these issues with Synergy ROM??
 

-No WiFi
-No WiFi Tether
-Can't turn off auto-correct
-Can't turn off haptic feedback

No WiFi is a victor for me. Did I do something wrong??

Auto-correct is also extremely agitating.

what version of synergy? I'm running "InfectedROM_Synergy-3dvo_RLS-1 (Nightly)" and haven't had any problems with wifi or wifi tether..

to disable auto-correct go to settings>language & keyboard>3vo keyboard>uncheck quick fixes

Yeah, I've tried that around 20 times. Turning that off literally does nothing.

try all compatibility kernal that are listed.

infectedrom are also good..

I'm unable to use different kernels now as well. I tried Ziggy first, as someone else recommended on a different site, but it just won't take. I've tried 4 different Kernels, but none will take.

Also, could the kernel be causing all of these issues, or just the ones dealing with connectivity?

Oops...sorry. Yeah, they won't flash at all. It's weird, because it will say that it has been done, then I reboot. After it has rebooted, I'll go in to check the Kernel Ver., and it has not changed.

Yeah. My buddy had to tell me how to do the dalvik thing, but now I can't find it again. Someone said something about HBOOT... I just looked, and I have 1.5. Do I need to change that? The instructions didn't say anything about it, so I had no idea what HBOOT even was.

Thanks for all your help, man. Unfortunately, this is all greek to me. I guess I'm gonna need to find someone on CL to do it for me. I don;t wanna screw it up even more than I already have.

However, I do have one last question. I *think* it says to do this before flashing. Will it cause a problem since I've already flashed a new ROM?

I THINK YOU DID IT!!! WiFi is Working, as well as 4G. I also found a SECOND place where suggestion, corrections, etc was activated. I'm not sure why it was in two places, but it seem to all be working now. I wish I could hit the THANKS button like 500 times!

you got it???!!!

you can flash a rom then use the flash image app to flash kernel
with app you just browse for the zimage in the rom.zip file and the app will flash it

I think so. I wasn't going to try it, but my gf is pretty much always right....and much smarter than me. She told me if I didn't do it, I'd never learn how. So, I gave it a shot, and it looks like everything is working just fine. 4G was already on when I rebooted, so that works. I turned that off and turned on WiFi, and I'm speeding right along!

p.s. She also said that she was gonna call me 'Tammy'' for the rest of the week if I didn't. Does anyone know of any abuse services I could call? lol

One thing that is kinda weird, though... That task bar shown off in the video review of this ROM isn't working. The one where you touch where it actually says Synergy, and it gives some options or whatever. This may change if I re-flash, though. After doing the steps for HB1.5, I rebooted into recovery, and flashed the ROM again. I don't think it worked correctly, b/c when everything booted up, everything was as I left it. Not sure. Might try again tomorrow. Right now, I'm just gonna leave it alone since most everything else is working correctly. lol

I did, but the only option I found was to have it show the quick quick settings if there are no prev apps to list. In the video, he gets option when he touches where it says synergy.

That was a feature in their previous rom. I used to have it and with the newest update it seems to have been removed ..no biggie tho. Also removed in this newest version is the synergy rom updater..

Ahh...okay, cool. Thanks, a lot! I was worried it was just screwed up. I think everything is in working order then. Still a bit buggy, but I know all ROMs are.
