notification sounds not working correctly
 

I have a custom notification sound and whenever I get a text it uses the default one. I have tried setting other sounds and it says it will use it let alone makes the sound but whenever I get a text afterwards it still plays the default


is this a known glitch? search didnt pull anything

Are you using the stock messaging App?

If so, are you setting your Messages Notification sound under Menu, Settings, Personalize and then Notification Sound, Message? This can also be done via your Personalize key to the right of the Phone key from any home screen.

If your using a 3rd party Messaging App, you need to turn off your stock Messaging App notifications.

it actually had to do with the sound scene. pos htc
