Those who upgraded from HTC 4G, does the 3D use the same battery?

I'm considering of upgrading to the 3D. I have a couple of extended batteries for the 4G. I understand the 3D has a bigger battery, but I was curious if it can still uses the same battery as the 4G.

they won't work, but I've read that the Evo 3D's batteries are compatible with the Sensation, although the Evo's have more capacity (1730 mAh vs. 1560 mAh for the Sensation)

Definitely not the same battery, but where my 4g would need to be charged 2 or 3 times a day the 3d makes it through the day with the same usage.
