WARNING ABOUT NEW PRL 50580!!!!!!!

Apparently there is a new prl that some people have updated too (50580) thats causing phones to get stuck on 1x only. I didn't listen when I read the thread over at xda and I updated like a dumbass anyway and now I am stuck. I am not sure if this is an isolated issue with rooted phones or what but just a warning none the less.

Ok, I reset the prl to 21081 and everything is back to normal. For those that need assistance what you need is the 21081 zip file. Unzip it and place it on your sd card(I placed mines on the root of the card, not sure if that will make a difference). Then dial ##775# then it will ask for your msl code, if this code doesn't work download and install the epst.apk I attached then try the code again. For those that are rooted just use mslreader on the market for those that aren't rooted you can call sprint and ask nicely or use the cdma workshop method. Once you enter your msl you will then see the option to update prl, then the next step will allow you to select the 21081 file that you unzipped. Once you select ok it should reboot, if not then just reboot and when it comes back up you should be good to go.

Re: WARNING ABOUT NEW PRL 50580!!!!!!!

is this happening to people all over the country, or just in some locations? if its confined to a few locations then more then likely its due to lose of a resource agreement. i don't recall seeing and prl notifications lately, ill check tomorrow and see if there is any info listed for that one in particular. normally when they are out of series (50xxx instead of 21xxx) they are temporary fixes.
