Remove system update notifcation
 

I've rooted my Evo 3D and installed OMJ's Rom. I know that we should not accept the system updates from Sprint.

My notification area constantly shows that a system update is available. How can I get it not to show that these updates are available?

I'm not on a custom rom but have you tried Menu/Settings/System Updates/HTC Software Updates - then uncheck the scheduled check box?
