I downloaded beta5 from XDA but have the same problem with it. I've got those options checked.

This may be a simple question but do you have "change device profile" set to evo 3d?
I'm on OMJ rom and i also have the before mentioned options selected.

I looked at that, but Evo 3D was not a choice there (only Evo 4G) so I left it on automatic.

I have however uninstalled all tether applications and downloaded the newest Wi-Fi Tether beta from XDA and that is working perfectly.

Android newbe here, can some please walk me through on how to down load and install the required wifi tether_v3_1-beta4.apk? Also should I download the newest version of it which is Beta6? I'm rooted with S off by the way....Thanks..!!
