Music player skips
 

Anyone having problems with the music player in sense? No matter what song it is after listening to it for 1 - 2 min it will randonly start skipping to different parts in the song back and fourth. I was thinking about just hard resting it but does anyone have any other ideas without having to loose all my data? (i already have it backed up)

Are U using an aftermarket micro SD card? I had the same problem on my TP using a Kingston SD card. I don't buy anything but sandisk now.

No i'm using the one that came with the evo 3d. I'm assuming its a sandisk one since i've never looked at it. I've only used sandisk ones in the past though as well. I tried hard resetting it but to no avail it still experiences the same issue. The strange thing is that it will only happen if headphones are plugged it.

Are you using headphones? Look to see if the icon in the notification area shows a headphone with a mic when there is no mic on your headphones. Mine did this and it was fixed when I re-plugged in my earbuds and the icon in the notification area was correct.

this happened to me too it'll just start to seek thru my audio files....this happened when i tried hookin up my phone to studio equipment i guess the electricity flowing makes it do that if it getting more juice than usual, but it hasn't happened since the 2nd day

It dosent have the Mic icon and I've tried everything. Any other ideas?

I'm having the same problem and this sucks in a major way. Hard resetting does nothing but I did notice it seems to depend on what I have plugged in. my cars aux, sony earphones, home entertainment center all have skipping issue. However I have some earbuds I purchased for $2.49 that work perfect.

Go to the store and change your phone. I have the same problem and i take to the store and get a new one.

I'm having the same issue. I had to uninstall doubletwist because it would just start playing randomly and then switch songs every 10 seconds. The main music player doesn't do it as much, but still pissed when it happens.

Hey Dark_Hitman? Sprint gave you a new phone because of this issue? Did you have to prove it was happening?
