Class 2 32gb micro sd card
I bought my evo 3d today at radio shack and I was told that i cant use my class 2 32gb micro sd card from my evo. Is this true? Do I need to format my sd card first? I put the card in w/o formatting it and it read how much mem i had but nothing else was read. Did I do something wrong? Thanks

I think it has to do with the class. Not real sure on that though. Thought I saw somewhere that a class 4 was the minimum.
----- No, I'm not happy to see you, that's a Shooter in my pocket. |

Re: Class 2 32gb micro sd card
thats wat the rep said at radioshack that it was a minimum of class 4. But if others are having success with a class 2 32 micro sd card then i will try some other things again tonight.

Re: Class 2 32gb micro sd card
you can use a class 2 but you might have issues with hd video capture and play back. class 2 is only a guaranteed transfer speed of 2MBps, which isnt much. granted cards will normally work faster but thats the speed you should expect.

Re: Class 2 32gb micro sd card
I had trouble using a class 2 in my EVO 4g so I would imagine you would have jittery video play back on any video you record.

Re: Class 2 32gb micro sd card
I would much rather spend the extra money and get a class 4 32gb card..

Re: Class 2 32gb micro sd card
it will make no difference which class your card is unless you are RECORDING video. All the cards have a tremendous read speed but the write speed is what the higher class cards change. They are saying you need at least the class 4 to record 720p video and or 3d video. I work at best buy and get these questions all the time
