Apps Automaticly Restored
 

Just setup up my new Evo 3d and just noticed that all the markets apps I had on my Evo 4g are now on my Evo 3d purchased and free ones. Did not even open market place at all.

That's a feature of gingerbread. Been using it in CM7 for a while and now it moved all of my apps to my EVO 3d.

Thats really cool to know, I was just about to post a question on this subject. I was thinking that messages would start popping up on the screen saying that " This is a new device" or something like that. Thanks for the update on this.

This is interesting to know since none of my market apps have mysteriously appeared on the E3D.

Mine haven't either. I figured I'd have to download the amazon appstore and login to get my apps.

It is the Google backup feature which is part of gingerbread. It restores other thing like WiFi keys and other settings. Also found out it restores text messages. Not sure if thats happened to anyone else but Google restored a bunch of text to my phone and I'm not sure how to change what it backs up.

Anyone?
