Upgrade pricing...

So when I goto Sprint.com, it tells me I am currently only eligible for the $75 upgrade rebate and that I won't be eligible for the $150 till Sept 1st.

However, when I goto sites like BestBuy.com(Amazon as well) and use their upgrade checker, it tells me YES I am eligible for an upgrade and that I can get the $199. According to BestBuy.com, I was elibible for the upgrade as of JUNE 1st.

Why the difference? I am considering getting the EVO 3D to replace my now aging Touch Pro 2. I'd like to get it at Best Buy since I have about $50 in Best Buy bucks to use.

Also, I am still on the old SERO $30 plan. Will I have an issue if I buy at Best Buy and being on SERO? I know I would have to bump up to SERO-P but can I do that at a Best Buy?

call sprint and ask them to wave the upgrade date so you can get the evo 3d.
they did that for me.

you would probably want to just upgrade it before hand also

The thing is, Best Buy, according to their wesite check says I AM eligible for the $199 price. I want to buy it from there because I have the $50 of so in BB bucks.

I will probably call the night before and convert my SERO plan to SERO-P tho.

Depending on when your billing cycle is, you might want to call them now/soon and tell them you want to convert to the SERO-P on the start of the next billing cycle. When I called to ask about upgrading to it, they said I could do it right away and they'd pro-rate the last part of my cycle or they could set it to automatically change at the beginning of my new cycle, which happens to be June 24th, hah. So assuming the rep did his job and the info he told me was correct, I'm ready to get off and running as soon as I get the phone.

Maybe you can do something like that if you like it that way.
