...while you 'patiently' wait for your Evo 3D? How are you passing the time? Is it just killing you that it's SO CLOSE, but not quite here yet?

It's killing me! It's like Christmas for me... I can see the presents right there under the tree, but I can't open them! Are you like? Torturing yourself by watching all the hands-on videos that you KNOW you've watched like a million times already??

Other than work and social, I tried passing the time during this evening by playing some Bad company 2 on 360... Unfortunately, that just made me think of Battlefield 3, which so very far away. It's like God hates me... It's like I owe him money!!

I'll give a Coke and a Smile to anyone who wants to go ahead and gift me an Evo 3D.....right now.

I've been doing the video watching thing over and over too! Haha. Then I pause and remind myself it's just a phone and I'll be ok... it's only a couple weeks...

and then...

I'm back to watching the videos again, or looking at Sprint's site for the millionth time just in case there's some bit of different information or something different.

Like really? I'm getting that obsessive? hahaha We'll get there. I've been playing some Starcraft II (custom maps too for variety) or COD: Black Ops if I haven't found other work/people to keep focused on.

Oh well, I might catch a re-run of one of those hands-on videos before getting some sleep... :p

Well, I finally got my desktop hooked back up from where I got the hard drive repaired in January. I suppose I could get all my software installed now. Mostly been playing Spore on my pc and Borderlands on the 360. Cruising the Android sites for info on other phones. The Photon sure looks nice.

I'm constantly refreshing my 3 or 4 tabs of engadgetmobile, pocketnow, and phonearena all day long waiting for new updates of any kind lol.

Am I the only one who's current phone starts acting up (freezing, sluggish) right before the launch of a new phone. I swear all of a sudden my phone is all buggy

though I'm looking fwd to getting the 3D, I'm not nearly as excited as I was for the EVO 4G. I was coming from the Diamond, so it was a huge upgrade. The EVO 4G is still an awesome phone, and since we have nearly full Sense 3.0 features in custom roms, the 3D is not as huge as an upgrade (for me).

Thats exactly why I've been trying so hard to resist the Sense 3.0 Roms. I want to TRY to wait and experience the full effect of the upgrade on the 24th lol! Though the wait is making them more and more tempting everyday!

It's even worse because I FINALLY finished school so time is going in slo-mo now! At least before I had class, internship and projects that demanded all of my time and made time fly! Now I just sit read, watch and wait..... speaking of which, time to watch some more hands on vids lol.

i've been going crazy about this phone also

it's all i think about.... seriously would turn down a month of sex just have this phone right now (good thing i don't have to ;) )

i was on the TP2 but sold it for $150 and went back to an old flip phone; a silver Sanyo. it can't even take video...

I'm in the same boat you were. I'm upgrading from the Hero, so I should see a slight increase in performance. :D

No, you're not the only one. My Hero has been acting up almost like it knows its being replaced. I've thought of just flashing a new ROM just to show it a little love, lol.

I'm in the same boat as far as being more excited for the 4G. I had a couple Android phones before the 4G but it was just something so different I couldn't wait to get it. This doesn't hit me the same way. I am still excited but I am not thinking about it much.

What am doing in the meantime?

I want to get a screen protector for it, but I think its not necessary right? I do take care of my phone.

I wanted to get an arm band for it, but I think I will just grip in my hand when I run.

Other than that, perhaps 2 cheap battery and a external charger from China/Taiwan? Are those battery already out?

Dude...yes!!! All of a sudden, Sense FCs CONSTANTLY, freezes, slows down... It's so obnoxious. Even now I'm having issues keeping the keyboard up while I type!!! The phones know, man. They're SMARTphones...

Finally cracked loading the Synergy Rom now just to get a sample of the E3D.... I was trying to wait to try any of the new Sense features but I just couldn't take it anymore lol

Where did you get your stuff from? Did you get the case with the kickstand?

I know I want a full-body protector... I'm anal about my electronic devices. One of you gave me a helpful link that I may order from. ....BUT, I WANT MORE!!!

You know, I'm really liking the kickstand case as well. Ignoring how much it costs, my only hangup or consideration is that it doesn't cover the cameras.

The cutout is just a giant hole rather than little holes for the lens and flash with everything else covered.

Do you guys think that's a big deal? I guess if I was worried about them getting scratched from being in my pocket etc. I could just get some of the cut-out transparent protectors to put over them so I can replace it when it gets scratched...

That doesn't worry me much, the camera on the Evo protrudes and I have dropped mine more times then I can count and all is well with the camera and lens for me.
