Just saw this posted on Slickdeals from phonearena...whatcha guys think??

The cherry on the top is placed by Target, however - it will sell you the HTC EVO 3D for $50, when you return your old HTC EVO 4G, and in the press release the store chain sent us, it states that with the 5% off you get when you sign for a Target REDcard, the deal becomes the irresistible $40 for one of the hottest Android handsets ever to hit US shores. Amazon hasn't listed its pricing yet, but we have the feeling it won't be long.

I don't know either way... But it's hard to believe. I'm at Target very often and I have yet to see a single Sprint phone there.
Again... I don't know. But it doesn't seem likely to me.

Contract phones just recently rolled out to Target, so you might not be a part of the cool crowd yet who has them in their Targets...

Even now that I am aware... I still have the dank smell of moisture and mold that living without light brings to my life.

I don't think they would let you take advantage of that deal unless you are eligible for an upgrade.

I could see that being true.. It's a win win... Target wins, Sprint wins and the buyer wins.
Great partnering is hard to mess up.

Congrats to all of you who have an upgrade due soon and are getting this animal.
I have to wait till Feb.

There's another thread here that some people are contacting Sprint Retentions and getting an early upgrade - eligible for the full $150 credit.

They won't bring mine back 8 months...
I'll wait to see what the holidays and CES and Barcelona bring this time around.
But I'll be jealous for about 8 months.

Can I trade in my Touch Pro 2?

I got a brand new EVO from Sprint because the refurbished one restart all the time and they said I could keep the defective one. Planning to trade the bad one in somewhere...

They did 6 for me. And the Targets here have been selling Sprint phones since the EVO came out.

I have one of those 2 story Targets by my house and they don't carry Sprint... But I full on believe you since it's on their site... See my link above.

You know though... I love the EVO... And I'm really hoping for something cool by Feb... I don't think I'll cave. Again Congrats guys. The EVO3D is a sweet sweet phone.

You should try calling the number just to see if they will do it. My brother's line wasn't eligible until May 2012 but they fixed it and now he will now be able to upgrade within 24 hours. He will of course be waiting for the evo 3d.

Just called target mobile they said that they currently do not have this promo.... thats not to say that it wont be available in the coming weeks tho i'm sure. I think I'll just stick to selling mine online and just walk in to BestBuy and get the one I've had reserved for the last few months lol

I bought my EVO 4G at a Target. I guess it depends on the store. I know I see Sprint in some walmarts and not in others.

That said, it would be really tempting to do that if u could get one for 50$, I think I would
