video conferencing Skype
Do we have an idea when Skype with video capabilities will be available for the EVO 3D?
|
Re: video conferencing Skype
It should be... The app is available on the Android Market and the EVO 3D has a front facing camera... So I don't see why it would not be able to run the software.

@AZTECHKA, thank you for your constructive input.
Does anybody have Skype on the EVO … and is the video chat working? |
Re: video conferencing Skype
I haven't tried Skype but I know Fring works wonderfully on my Evo. Also, throw him a thanks if he helped you out at all :)

Re: video conferencing Skype
You are right….@CarlaDarla …. My profile showed that I had the evo and the shift… not sure where that came from…
@AZTECHKA I am thankful for anybody who takes time to help an n00b like me to transition form Windoze to Droid ;=) |
Re: video conferencing Skype
Oh....Fring… don’t really care so much about what name is on the APP… if it works good I’ll go with that….

Yea, it works great for me. It also goes cross-platform as well. It's a winner in my book.

The latest Google Talk now supports video chat, though I havent used it yet. |
Re: video conferencing Skype
I thought the Android has a built in video program and it can talk to any Sprint customer that has a camera and iphone too. I saw a demo at the T-mobile store.
