Yeh I dont see why its necessary for the camera..but if there is software option to change 2d/3d which I hear there is might be possible to reprogram that switch to turn 3d on and off on the screen rather then camera...or maybe make it control both camera and screen...

I found a pretty nice deal on a 32gb class 10 micro SD card. With this bad boy doing 2d video in 1080p i figure this video files will be huge so before I go shell out $80 on a new card I'd be interested in knowing what size card it will come with. I (assume like others) have watched every evo 3d video on you tube and few mention the card at all but I have heard 8 from some vids and 32 from others.

I don't think ti will be economical for them to include a 32gb card...unless its going to be a promotion for a discount like they did with the Droid X..I mean they go for 80$...even if they get them at half price which is 40$...in retrospect they can get 16gb card for 5$ probably...

aka it would be cheaper for them to include 16gb rom and 16gb sd card then include a 32gb sd card...

Option for turning off 3d if you don't want it at all?

There is a 3d/2d switch on the side of the phone it can be seen in use in the preview videos :D

Hope this helps

Does anyone know if you take a picture on 3D and send it to a person with a non 3D phone, will the picture be screwed up.

I know it is possible to take 3D pics and movies with the EVO 3D then show them on a 3D TV using the glasses that come with the TV.

But let’s say you don't have a 3DTV but you still want to see larger versions of your 3D pics. Could the EVO 3D take red and blue tinted images (one using the left camera, and the other using the right camera), then show them in 3D on a standard HDTV using the old fashion red and blue tinted glasses?

I know this isn't ideal but it could allow your pics and movies to be seen in 3D by anyone, anywhere, even printed on paper as long as they have the red/blue tinted glasses.

Anyone know if the htcsense.com site will work for the evo3d such as being able to lockout the phone and track it?

I believe that when you record video or take a picture in 3D it is saved in both 2D and 3D separately. so you could just send the 2d version :)
