If you call and get the right rep, they'll gladly move you up early to lock in a new contract.

I spoke w/ retentions 2 days ago, mentioned about using an upgrade from another line on my account that is eligible on 7/1....I wanted to see if they'd move it up so I could get the 3D at launch, then she said she could move up my upgrade on my line, and would call me when it was done......I'm still waiting

Do you all like to sign contract just to get the phone cheaper?

Here is my idea: get the phone for no more than $320 on fleabay. See my TP2 for $100, get the 3D down to $220. About the same price as signing a 2 yr contract. So I rather not do any contract even though I can do it.

hunni I doubt that u gonna find a evo 3d for 320... it's probably gonna go on sale for 200-250 with new contract so I'm thinking 380-450 on ebay...but thats just a my opinion....

I had to call several times to get mine bumped up to gold level (been with them for over 15 years but my current line is only 8 years old so they made me silver), but they did it. They said it will not show up on the account until after the first of June because they only run the update monthly... Hope that is not just lip service! So, I am waiting for mine to update as well.

According to their system, I've only been w/ Sprint since 12/2007, which is when they switched to a new billing system. I told them I've been a customer since 2002. They filled out some form & submitted to some dept to investigate, and I'm suppose to get something in the mail with my exact anniversary date.

I did call back about my upgrade.....I guess there was some confusion (imagine that). I was planning on using an upgrade from another line on my account, but the full upgrade wasn't till 7/1. all I wanted was to have it moved up to 6/1...So the guy I spoke w/ took care of it this time, plus gave a $45 credit to renew the contract on the line that day. Now that line is eligible for a full upgrade now (which I'l be using for 3D!)....works for me

I have to admit that I'm a bit jealous of you guys... I just upgraded to my EVO and am perfectly happy with it. But having the bigges baddest is always fun.
I'll catch up next Feb.
