Is it a Global Phone?
 

I'm travelling out of the country in a couple weeks (Netherland Antilles). Does anybody know if the Incredible will work over there?

No, the Inc is not a World Phone.

The Incredible does not use GSM, and is not a world phone... HOWEVER, the best thing to do is call Verizon and check because there are approx 40 countries that use CDMA, many of which are in the Caribbean. It's possible the Netherland Antilles use CDMA and you'll be able to use the phone there. Verizon can tell you for sure.

Solomente, I called VZW. NA uses GSM and I won't be able to use the phone. However I CAN use my old HTC Ozone. I just have to call and activate the sim card inside (pumpsuprazx was right). I'll only use it for emergencies though because calls will cost me $2.89 per minute. Yikes! Incoming texts are $.05, outgoing texts are $.50 and data is $.20 per kb. Emergencies ONLY. I'll just use Skype on the laptop.
