I can't understand about the reception , mine has been good everywhere i have gone. Must be different phones from different batches.

or different areas? reception fluctuates from good to extremely bad alot especially when using apps

only when you use a task killer app to shut them down in the background, does the reception come back to full or atleast near full strength

thats what i always have to do it seems to get signal strength... and its a bother when you forget to do it before a phone call

I live in the burbs and only get 2 bars , but always clear and loud , haven't had a drop yet.


They will probably have to put out a new radio for better reception.

my reception is the same as its always been at my house...bad, haha. tp2 had zero to one bar...same with my incredible...however i don't get dropped calls. the worst was on my moto dumbphone, same reception but dropped calls ALL the time. we just simply don't have a cell antenna anywhere close by, despite the fact i live at the edge of a big city...

Reception not a problem with me , NCX must have got a lemon. If it is a problem in alot of areas a new radio will probably come out.
I sure hope 2.2 will make it by the end of the month. I should have a handle on 1.2 by then. haha

My phone received this update. I do have HTC Sync running on the phone and maybe that is a prerequisite to receive the update. I had no idea what it did but I did notice that my sync processes are running smoother. I didnt put that item together with the update when I noticed that I was running 2.01update1.

I live in a moderate signal area but because of the my house we have signal issues inside the house. The house is made of stone and the exterior walls are about 7 inches think so cell signals have always had a problem penetrating the walls. The Incredible works just fine in here and the signal, while weak is steady, and calls are clear and haven't had any drop yet.
