such a tease to release these reviews before we buy it, haha. good info though to help you make a choice. read the engadget one, they talked it up pretty highly. better than the n1, said it was major competition to the iphone (which is a lot for engadget to say) and said that in some ways its superior to the iphone, wow engadget.

noticed they said it had 784mb rom, while verizons site says 512mb. also engadget claims 32gb micro sdhc support, verizons site claims 16gb...interesting. hope engadget is correct. i guess maybe some the rom could be coming from the 8gb internal mem, maybe? i wouldn't allocating all of it to rom, haha

Unfortunatly VZW does usually cut down on things like memory, so I am wondering (like MrGoodCat) if the reviews are based on a pre-release version and what we get will be the VZW specific version.

I must say I have read all the reviews posted here, including the Phonescoop one (can't remember if it was posted here or not):

and I am about as close as possible to switching to Android. I am still doing some research on apps (found some in the app store, but there have to be more out there) and the customization of it (changing wallpaper in certain areas like SMS, WM equivalent apps....), but the Incredible is looking....well....incredible!!!

The thing I wonder about (off to check VZW's site as soon as I post this) is the price-tag. Phonescoop says $300 after a $100 rebate and the other review sites mention a $200 price. The $300 would really make me 2nd, 3rd.....guess the Incredible, but I think $200 would be acceptable to give Android a spin.

P.S. Any good suggestions of good sites for screenshots (lock, in-call, incoming call...) and other good app sites would be great, even the Android forums seem a bit sparce on these things from what I have found so far).

Does anyone know if the hardware of the camera is the same as the EVO? I'm curious if we will see 720 video recording via a software update?

verizon really hasn't messed up since the touch pro debacle. and i think they learned there lesson. i just fin it weird that just about every specs sheet thats been released for the incredible has contradicted eachother in one spec or another. honestly if pre orders weren't up, i would doubt its existance, haha. just so weird to not have solid specs. but the worst i have seen is still great, so hoping for even better.

not positive on that but i believe i posted a link a page or so back to phandroid that claimed the camera could receive an update for 720p recording. so only time will tell on that, but that would be awesome if they released that!

I stopped in a store tonight and between playing around with the clerks eris (sp) and talking to him about apps and usage I think I am sold. at $150 for this device, I am willing to try out Android for at least 22 months LOL!!!!

(in other words....in a few months I think I am getting the Incredible!!)

have you tried the hd2 yet? those phones are just way to big imo. i think this is the perfect size

the hd2 feels great in my hands (i have big hands) the driod I and hd2 show the same on the screen due to them having the same resoution 480x800
