When I set down my device, the touch is nearly impossible, and youcant work the device. The minute I touch it with another hand or even a finger, the device works perfectly... Maybe I'm crazy, but is there some kind of new sensor? I think it's kind of handy I suppose, but I lm just checking to see if imthe only one.. Maybe it's defective haha. But yeah try it out. Just set it down on a able and just try totouch it with one finger as you normally would. I find that you have to press a lot harder if you want Otto function. |
Re: Anyone else notice
Not mine. It works exactly the same if it's on a table as if it were in my hand.

Re: Anyone else notice
mine works also but "sometimes" i do notice that.
its like it has to be hit at a angle that can only be accomplised by holding it in your hand. |

Re: Anyone else notice
i dont think urs is defective, ive noticed with my fingers that i have callus build up on the tips and around the finger nails that if i dont touch the screen with the pads of fingers than it wont accept the touch, finger nails styluses and calluses all dont work.

Re: Anyone else notice
Whats funny is that when I try... I have to use the pads of my fingers.
However the phone is constantly butt-dialing or having random buttons pressed when in my pocket. |
Re: Anyone else notice
the sensor that senses your soul must be malfunctioning or...
It could be the amount of moisture in your fingers and the capacitive sensor not picking it up. when you touch the phone with the other hand/near the battery the capacitance of your finger is changed. That is my guess. |
Re: Anyone else notice
...seldom but happens.
