Just got my droid eris and need help ! ! !
 

I'm trying desperately to get IGO8 on my new eris but can't seem to get it to work. I have the software on my SD card but can't open the execute file to run it. Can anyone help me, PLEASE ???

is it zipped or .apk?

if its in zipped format rename to apk


or you can upgrade to the 2.1 and use google navi which is better then igo

No it's not a zip file although it does contain two zip files with in it... I just can't seem to get the executable to run... I think I need some kind of app in order to run it but I don't know which one or what kind... If you or someone can help it would be great...
