home screen sliding issue
 

My brother Eris when he clicks on the home button, goes to the home screen but then slides all the way to the left screen and won't slide back. It dosen't happen all the time but it happens more then not. Any idea? In cause it's relavent, he's running a rooted Evil Eris v1.1 Thanks.

this Eris thread is usually dead. some activity hits sometimes but its been dead. try postin on XDA

My wife's Eris is also doing this. She's running stock 1.5 and she's only had it about 2 weeks. Any ideas what's causing this?

Yep. The trackball has an issue with the charging port. It will do this more when plugged into the charger. It's a defect in the phone. Cry to VZW/HTC and try to get it replaced. You can usually replicate the problem in front of a rep if you plug the phone in while demonstrating.
