swipe (omnia) text available for Droid..?
 

so I've heard rumors that I figure are just that, but if not.. any info people.. you guys make me think I should've just gotten a different phone :/

yea i had it installed on my Eris but couldnt get it started. i seen it in the options but couldnt start it. i only messed with it for a few mins

Are you guys trying to figure out how to actually select Swype once you install it on your phones? If so, once you go into your settings and enable the KB, and you can go through the options obviously and choose what you want etc...Go into a text message or something where you input text, long press on the input box and a "Select Input Method" box will appear, just select Swype :) If that isn't what you were asking about then I got nothing LOL :)

nah i knew how to do it....the version i had was bad. i downloaded the light version earlier and it worked like a charm. as a matter of fact i love it. only problem is i cant get the capital letters down 100% but i'm gettin there. learnin curve is about 20 mins(includes practicing)

after a few days i'm still lovin it. just wish i can get my capitals and full sentences correct tho
