Any way to find approximate Battery Age?

I purchased a Sprint Touch Diamond about 6 months ago used. I know battery life is pretty low on the Diamond, but I was wondering if my battery is just old. I know LiONs tend to get bad around 1.5-2 years.

Is there any way for me to tell how old the battery in this thing is? Serial number or something?

or maybe how old the phone is?

I know on some other Sprint phones there is a way to tell the amount of hours used. I'm assuming that this is the original battery, so maybe that would tell me something?

Well... I was hoping someone had some sort of technical wizardry to help you out. I sure don't. However, I do have a nonanswer answer... If you do a little math... The phone came to Sprint Q4 of 08... That would make the battery 1 year old at it's oldest. I would say it's done it's job and probably would be a good idea to get a new one.

Decided to Order the Mugen 1500Mah. We'll see. I was contemplating getting a new phone but after looking around I don't see anything that will really work.

I wanted something as small (or smaller) than the Diamond. I looked at the Palm Pixi but it doesn't work with Slingplayer. Touch Pro2 is too big.

You could see the phone's age by going to Start->Settings->System->Device Information. There it will tell you when the phone was made.

And I've found my battery stopped holding up as good after about six months of use, and that was charging it every night.

I don't see the phone's age. I see the date when I flashed the last ROM. I see calls incoming/outgoing, but I'm assuming that is since I flashed the last rom.

I think you're on the right track bro... If you like the phone and the battery is your biggest concern... It's a cheap enough fix and you should just get a new one.
I'm looking forward to next years phones.

Yeah.. at this point there is so much competition, there are bound to be leaps and bounds better phones over the next year.

Yeah just get another stock battery and you should be ok.
