Hard Reseting GSM Diamond

My GPS was working for a short time with the help of the HTC GPS Tool and a few small changes. It has since died. I'm hoping a hard reset will clear all settings and I can get it to work again. So:

  1. How would I go about doing a hard reset?
  2. Since the hard reset clears all applications and data, will it also un-unlock my phone?
Also, is there a way I can back-up certain things instead of the whole phone? i.e. only programs and documents, no program settings.

Re: Hard Reseting GSM Diamond

1) We deal mostly with CDMA phones here, but welcome.
2) It should be the same procedure as the rest of us (Start->Settings->System->Clear Storage).
3) ActiveSync should back up most of your Documents, but you can try Microsoft's My Phone too. As for programs just find the cabs for everything.

Re: Hard Reseting GSM Diamond

Just wanted to add it will not relock your phone, you can flash away after your initial unlock all you want!
