Really? Bricked phone?

So out of bordem (plus im replacing my phone this weekend) i tried to "brick" my phone, but had absolutely no luck! Flashed a gsm rom, phone froze. Flashed a gsm unlocker: phone froze. Flashed a verizon unlocker and a tp unlocker: phone froze. Sucks that each time i tried this, once i removed the battery i had no problems what so ever.

Has anyone actually bricked a phone?

Just curious...

I think I managed pretty well (have a thread floating here).
Of course, I wasn't trying to brick it. Try to act nonchalant when you're flashing it, like you're not trying to brick it

Flash a radio, and unplug when it's at 50% that should do it

thats not bricked buddy. bricked means it doesnt power at all. just enter bootloader and flash the shipped rom.. good to go!

Well, I'm glad to see someone soo brazen to do this. Congrats! lol. I've got one for you though. I think you should try to kill the bootloader, this may help with bricking as you couldn't just get back into the bootloader. Try editing the bootloader files so that when they install they are no good and you have no bootloader. Then maybe flash with a trashed .nbh (maybe hexedit delete random bits) and see. You couldn't just reload the bootloader and a trashed ROM load, anyways... i would be curious of that. If that doesn't work then, i guess you would have to program something to kill it, or the previous suggestion of the microwave, lol.
