need help with shortcut making

ok this one is a long shot, but you never, ive seen magic happen on these forums before.

Is there ANY way to make a LNK where when you click on it, it automatically opens up skype and calls a specific contact via skype?

maybe you could make a skype lnk that has a command line arguement to call a specific person. This is just speculation.

This is somewhat tangential, but how do you make a custom LNK in general?

open up file explorer, find the file you want a shortcut for, hold your finger over the file for about 2 seconds, hit copy then hold your finger in the folder not on a file and hit paste shortcut. Now you can rename the shorcut anything you want to and move it where you want (the shortcuts are in LNK format)

Thanks for the info.
Is there a way to place them on the Today screen?
I mean without a launcher program.

depends if you're using titanium or tf3d. in tf3d just make sure the LNK file is somewhere in your windows/start menu/programs folder. you can then add it to your programs like you normally would. for titanium do the same to access it from start menu. to get a panel that launches it you need a program like CLauncher
