WMP pausing/stoping after a period of time
 

i'm thinking this is kind of a noob question but for the life of me I can't figure out why this is doing this all of a sudden for me, as I said in the topic title, after my screen goes black and a bit into that my WMP presses the play button on its own (resulting in a pause or stop of my music/stream)

I think thats normal behavior for WMP...but there is an option to toggle the screen off and it wont shut off the music.

Open up WMP play a song then go to Menu/Options/buttons (all the way to the right) scroll down and select a button to toggle the screen on and off.

Or get Nitrogen player. :)

I think when the screen goes off it pauses wmp. Also, it may be haunted.

I don't remember it doing this before, it seems ever since I installed the tethering fix,

which also messes with you backlight settings, it started doing this.

even after messing with power management it still doesn't matter, even if I manually shut the screen off it still seems to pause/shut off at a certain period of time.

any more suggestions?

I think TREmp77 has it... use another player?
