External Storage Question

Is there a way to use the mini usb to connect an external drive? I want to hook my camera up to the Diamond to upload photos to facebook.

Wow, that would be a good trick. I don't know of any way to do that yet. I don't think the drivers exist.

Re: External Storage Question

There aren't any drivers that I've heard of to make that work. The best solution is to maybee hook up your phone and camera to a laptop that then would give that functionality.

When you plug it in can't you just select Disk Drive? Isn't that what you want?

Re: External Storage Question

That is for when you connect to PC. I want to connect camera directly to phone and pull pics off it without a PC. I have ordered an adapter to try this out. My theory is that if the digital camera is supplying its own power then maybe Total Commander will detect it... or maybe not... Doesn't hurt to try though. Now if I had a bluetooth camera... (do they make those???)

So you want to connect a separate digital camera to your phone? Nope you need a computer sorry.

Re: External Storage Question

The diamond doesn't have drivers that would support a generic mass storage volume, mainly because the phone itself is considered a peripheral and isn't made to SUPPORT peripherals. Sorry, but i can tell you right now that it won't work.
