AGPS Not Working?

Well I did the whole QPST thing and set it to the Alltel servers, and I checked my registry settings and I can't seem to figure out why it isn't working. Does anyone have any ideas? I can post more details if you wish. (Alltel Diamond on MightyROM6)

im having the same problem with my alltel and agps. i had to install advanced config, and turn off agps. this got my gps working for garmin, just takes 3-5 minutes to get a lock :(

Re: AGPS Not Working?

I get a lock fairly quick with Garmin by directly using COM 4 and I also use QuickGPS. For some reason with the 2.00 Alltel ROM update it killed my AGPS. But at least I'm able to use QuickGPS and get reasonable locks if I'm outside. And Garmin itself will tell you satellite information if you look under the GPS settings.

I discovered it to be the new alltel radio that killed my gps, so flashed a diff one and gps is working fine now...

I can confirm that new Radio being the GPS killer. I also got two Touch Pro's from Nex-Tech Wireless (a local CMDA provider) that use that same radio and had to move to another (Sprint's latest for me).

I've been there. I'm from Hutch (I wonder how you know that otherwise? :P).
