There is a cab for either version floating around the torrents.

Didn't think winmo 7 was any where near being released yet.
Find no details other than supposed leaked pics.
Sure it has to be beta or buggy if anyone finds it.

Wanna see links if anyone finds it for real.

This not correct, there is no cab, windows 7 only comes on floppy disks, you have to purchase set of 38 flopies, and install it by connecting a USB floppy drive to your phone. windows 6.5 can be easily upgrated by replacing you ROM. Soldering instructions could be found in other thread.

There is no need for sarcasm and being rude on this board.
Where are your manners?

And come on... That's only 53.2 megs... Everyone knows windows must take at least half of the phones resources.

@OP,
Despite what everyone says, there is really only one way to get a copy of windows mobile 7. I wrote a guide to help you.

1. Force the phone in to boot loader mode... This can be done by holding down the end key and volume down while pressing the power button.
2. While the phone is in boot loader mode, plug it in the computer so you can transfer the data.
3. Now that the phone is ready, you must obtain the software. This can be a little tricky so follow closely. For this to work, you have to be in Charlotte, NC.
4. Get in to your car. Head to Tyrone Blvd. (as if you are going to carowinds) When you see a hardees, take a left. (The road will have a green car parked on the right of it.)
5. Head down that road til you get to a lake.
6. When you get to the lake you will see a canoe on the side that you can use.
7. Kayak across the lake in the canoe. (This is important. Do not row as if you are in a canoe... Kayak as if you are kayaking)
8. You will see a yellow house when you cross the lake. Go up to the house, ring the bell 3 times and knock 4.
9. A man who calls himself james will come out. Tell him you are there to find the Holy Grail.
10. James will begin to fence with you... Pick up your fencing gear from behind the trash can.
11. Defeat james and he will give you a letter.
12. Follow the instructions on the letter until you find a man named matt.
12a. In order to continue, i'd recommend becoming comfortable seeing another man naked.
13. When you see matt, tell him you are looking to install windows... Matt will reply "That's convenient, I'm looking to install some hardware as well."
14. Matt will pull down his pants, you now need to help him with a quest that will be discussed when you get there... He will tell you it's a mouth controlled video game.
15. Defeat the video game, and matt will give you a copy of windows mobile 7.
16. Find your own way home.
17. Open up the RUU.exe, and then your phone will be updated.
