e-mail configuration
 

On past ROMs I've used, when setting up email, my diamond would automatically find the configurations for live.com. However, with some recent ROMs, it asks for some configuration info (POP3, IMAP4, incoming server, outgoing, etc)
I have entered the following information, but still cannot get my live.com acount to sync

POP3
Incoming mail server: pop3.live.com
outgoing mail server: smtp.live.com

Can anybody help me out configuring this? thanks

just download windowslive from your browser and you'll be good to go

With Hotmail and Live accounts you do not need to input any configuration details for POP and SMTP. Simply open the Windows Live application, input your email address and password. It's also a great way to keep all your contacts sync'd as it imports all your Live contacts too.
