cant install activesync
 

ok guys, so i did a total restor on my pc and i have vista. now its time to install stuff again and one of the first is my startup disc or my sprint touch diamond. now i hwve had everything working smoothly before the restore. so now when i install everyhing wmdc says its installed but activesynce does not it states the vista does not allow active sync, and i use my phone as my modem so i dobt know what to do

Well if youre using vista, you won't need activesync at all!

WMDC, or windows mobile device center, is Vista/Win7's replacement for the (aging) activesync.

Try plugging in your diamond and then opening WMDC.

wmdc says it installs but there is not shortcut and i cant find the program.

if youre using vista press the start button.

then type 'windows mobile' in the search bar. If it installed, it should be there
If not, :scratch: i dunno!
