Reg Edit / Disable sound/audio
Is there a way to do a reg edit to disable the sound/audio on a wm device?
For example disabling the mic, earpiece speaker and external speaker? I want to take it into the repair shop and say audio doesnt work.. they keep saying no trouble found when I go in.. please help! |
Re: Reg Edit / Disable sound/audio
lol. boy who cried wolf. if you MUST have a new phone say you lost it and pay $50. (assuming you have insurance) If you just changed lots of random stuff in the registry or deleting files in the Windows folder Im sure it would "have problems"

Thanks - I appreciate it. For those who think that I am trying to "defraud" the company - seriously?
I have intermittent issues w/the phone that never duplicate themselves in front of the rep, so my phone never gets replaced. It's frustrating. So this will hopefully correct the issue. (They never hard reset the phone) |

But I'm sure as soon as a mod spots this thread they will. It's just that it's best to do it in private when you're posting directions/instructions on defrauding a company. Just a tip for the future. :D I personally don't really care, but I'm just tryin to look out for ppcgeeks. |
