"End Call" soft button bug right after dialing

Often, I press the green "Talk" hard button on my phone to get to the dialer and to the call history. Sometimes, my Diamond somehow thinks I hit talk twice, so it dials the last person in my call history. I then hit the "End Call" soft button to try to hang up before the call goes through. But in many (or maybe all) instances, the screen goes back to the dialer interface (as if there is no call in progress), but the call continues. At this point, there is nothing I can do but reset the phone.

This is really frustrating for me as I accidentally call someone I don't want to call, and I have to reboot my phone on top of that.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any way to fix or work around this issue?

Try a different ROM or maybe a hard reset?

I think this issue has existed through a number of ROMs and hard resets...I can try again though :)

I assume your using the tachi dialer, if so do not hit end call on the screen use the end call hard key. I have this same problem if I use the end call soft key.

Yes, I am currently using the Tachi dialer. I think this issue existed before using the Tachi dialer as well.

But thanks for the suggestion. I'll give it a try.
