replacement phone
 

I received my replacement phone 3 days ago...... noticed a few differences. to answer i had to s2a, not a major change but need to get use to it. the battery level is vocally announced.

however **Major****problem, the today screen does not fully come up, no clock, calender, icons etc when I add cabs to the phone or a screen save r. Yeah the phone works with stock settings but what is the point of having a phone if can not make changes.

has anyone had problems when adding cabs to the phone.

lastly, noticed that there is a faint image burned into the phone????

s2a is part of the update sprint rom... for the other, hard reset? Its always good to do a hard reset when you first set up a phone. Also since this phone most likely has the 2.0 rom (I'm assuming you're on sprint I might be wrong and then this is all bunk), if you restored fully from backup it might be the culprit unless your old phone had the updated rom.

i read somewheres that the new 2.00 rom is unlockable with the old cmonex bootloader and a new one is being developed.
