keyboard

Is there a keyboard that changes with the g-sensor? You know, from portrait to landscape by turning the phone.

Using a program like flip it which auto rotates your screen worked for me. Whenever I rotated my phone and the screen rotated, the keyboard I was using also auto switched.

the only way to do it that i am aware of is to use a third party app like flip-it and set it to rotate the screen in messaging (or where ever you want to have a landscape keyboard) the default htc keyboards all have a landscape mode so it will work with them.

Thats a pretty sweet idea... I might have to try it just for that.

There is no software that rotates the screen and changes the keyboard but there are keyboards that detect landscape/portrait just fine. I know EZInput is one of them.

Thanks, I'll try...

I've been hoping for a keyboard that would provide a little bigger key sizes if turned landscape.

SPB keyboard has a mode that you can press a button on the keyboard and it rotates (no need for a program to rotate the screen - just depends on your preference). It gives you 1 line at the top to see what you are typing, and the rest of the screen is the keyboard. When you're done typing, you press the key again and it'll go back to the portrait mode and put all of the text you typed in the box where your keyboard was. You can see what it looks like on spb's website (full screen mode), as well as get a trial.
