finger keyboard w compact qwerty?
 

Any chance theres a finger kb with a compact qwerty version? I like the finger keyboard a lot and the regular compact qwerty a lot so was wondering if there was anything like this out there? Or just bigger qwerty buttons?

thats such a great idea!!!I use the CQ more than the reg keyboard..anyone know or willing to try?

No, but it probably would make sense if anyone is interested in this to add a post in the thread of the developer. I believe he has this on xda. That way the developer can see it and make a decision. I would like to see this as well.

I don't think FK will ever do it. I asked in the past. I think one of the SIPs like EZInput or something has landscape full qwerty and portrait compact qwerty. Alternatively I use TouchPal.

maybe ill check that out then. The reason I like FKB is that the keys pop out and you can change skins, with a lot of usability on the main kb. If only the freaking keys were big enough to hit accurately then I'd have no problem. thats the only reason I like compact qwerty more is the largeness of the keys. maybe if you know of a good kb like FKB with big keys or a FKB addon or something that just makes the keys bigger, i dunno.

You can try learning to make your own layout file. There is something in the Program Files dir on your phone that should explain it. Maybe you can figure it out.

All I ever use is compact qwerty.

My #1 choice is TouchPal using T+ (fastest KB in the universe) with a custom black/gray/red skin I made, but Merdin's black compact qwerty is awesome also....
