Incoming text message time stamp not correct?

Does anyone know why my incoming text messages time stamps are incorrect?

Re: Incoming text message time stamp not correct?

There are sometimes network delays on delivery, I've found especially when roaming. I've sent texts that didn't show up for hours but been told that when they were received they did accurately show the time I sent it. I was glad, otherwise I would have been in trouble!

Some have also said some radios cause similar delays, but I would go with the roaming theory.
