Help A First Time Flasher :)
 

I am trying to flash my new Diamond to MightyRom5.
I have downloaded the HardSPL .57 and follow the intructions. During the procedure, a connection error occurs. I get the tricolour screen but it displays a .67 version.
I really dont want to mess up this phone so anything you can do to help out is appreciated. :)

Hmm.....make sure your computer recognizes the phone when it's in the cmonex screen (tri color)....it should say USB at the bottom in black..

I have followed the instruction for HardSPL/ unlock. When it is running (progress bar on pc) it stops and says connection error, but the phone goes to the tri-colour screen. On the screen it says USB though.

did you install net 3.5 on your pc as listed in the thread? Also be sure to close spb backup sync task before establishing activesync.
