SIP changing stylus software
 

Been experimenting with software to auto change the SIP when the stylus is pulled. Only things I've found are older and don't seem to work well. Anyone using somthing reliable and easy to configure?

TouchLockPro - rarely sees my keyboards properly and usually doesnt work
Butler - causes hard crashes (as in hard reset needed) version 1.2 works ok but I just had to HR again off a reg edit
HtcExtFun - seems to be Butler's precursor or something but it's hard to config and I haven't been able to get to work

try Butler, it does work but be careful. The problem seems to be if you change the reg setting for enabling face down turn-off. I disabled its swipe-to-launch ability without trouble though. It does have a way to select a keyboard for portrait and landscape with stylus in or out. bit confusing on what reg keys to put in for the various keyboards - so that's a big issue. I'm including Butler 1.2 which is defaulted to Touch Input stylus in and compact keyboard for out. There's little documentation and the software is old so there may be some compatibility issues. I know version 1.1 would cause a hard crash in any rom 2xxxx build. If you get a long startup leading to a white screen of death, you have to hard reset to get the phone to work. the program itself will not run for some reason but will load at startup so once installed, reset and if you boot, it works. thread is hard to find but on xda
